Brent,
The dimensions of the selected tubes, the design and the quality of construction are much more important than which brand of tubing is used. In all three cases experience is the best guarantee that you'll end up with an excellent bike. All tube brands are available to me and I select the best ones for each customer. I'm happy to talk more about your particular needs and expectations. Shop phone is 916-446-5706.

Thanks,
Steve

I'm looking for a lugged steel frame, but have some questions about tubular steel choices from Columbus, Reynolds, True Temper, Tange, Ishiwata, and Miyata.

I am looking for a large 63cm or more frame (I'm 6' 3") that will offer the benefits of steel yet still accommodate a heavy (260 lbs.) and muscular (powerful) rider.

I don't need the lightest weight steel, as I'm not a racer, but I am looking for something that can handle my physique, strength, and weight.

Suggestions? Guidelines? Questions?

I appreciate in advance your thoughts.

Thank you,
